Alumni Message from the Dean
Celebrating 50 Years of Success
The 2017-18 academic year will be especially remarkable as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary for UC Blue Ash College. We're excited about the momentum at our college, and we have a variety of activities and events scheduled throughout the academic year to honor our rich history and celebrate our bright future. The theme for our 50th Anniversary is Inspiring Student Success. Then. Now. Always.
Alumni support plays a crucial role in helping our college maintaining this success. Whether you are a mentor to a student or a volunteer at an event, we could not succeed without you. Every personal investment of time that you make with our college makes a difference to our students.
Dating back to 1967, our inaugural class had an enrollment of 632 students. Today, we have nearly 5,000 students and remain the most racially diverse college within the university. This summer we opened our newest building on campus, Progress Hall, which provides an additional 16,000 square feet of classroom space and faculty offices to accommodate this rapidly growing student population.
We will continue our focus and dedication on providing one of the best values in higher education, enhancing our curriculum, and raising support for programs and initiatives that give our students the opportunity to experience growth outside of the classroom.
Thank you for your continued loyalty and support to UC Blue Ash College. With you by our side we can continue to build on our momentum and work toward another successful 50 years.
Dr. Robin Lightner
Dean, UC Blue Ash College
Making The Connection
We offer a wide variety of ways for our students to connect with you or your business, organization or agency. With more than 60 degrees and programs now available at UC Blue Ash College, we have students who are pursuing an education in nearly every type of industry or specialty.
We are growing our internship and co-op program at UC Blue Ash to provide more hands-on opportunities that prepare our students for the next step into the job market.
If you don't have internship or co-op opportunities in your organization, networking with or mentoring a student can also be invaluable in their development.
