Student Success Profile: Anastassia Jenjebir
Filling a Prescription for Success
Anastassia Jenjebir credits the education she received at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College with preparing her really well for her next step, as she was admitted to the UC College of Pharmacy to pursue her doctorate in pharmacy.
Anastassia is a graduate of Mason High School who maintained a 4.0 grade point average (GPA) while studying pre-pharmacy at UC Blue Ash. She credits her professors with challenging and supporting her as she maintained a level of excellence through the most advanced courses, including organic chemistry and physics.
“With all the rigor that comes with the courses, it really set me up for success on the admission test to the College of Pharmacy and it helped prepare me for the chemistry courses that are part of my doctorate program.”
Academics are the priority, of course, but Anastassia was also very active on campus while at UC Blue Ash. She served as a student ambassador during her sophomore year, was a tutor in the Science Learning Lab, and helped create the new Chemistry Club.
“If you have the desire to be involved, there are plenty of opportunities at UC Blue Ash to do that and to really have a great time here.”
Anastassia is continuing her involvement beyond the classroom at the College of Pharmacy where she serves as student government president.
