Why study Pre-Health Sciences?

This program prepares students for application to the health sciences baccalaureate degree program in the College of Allied Health Sciences (CAHS). The curriculum consists of freshman and sophomore level courses for appliction to CAHS.

Admission Requirements

This program is open to all students with a high school diploma or GED. However, students selecting this major should be within the top 10 percent of their high school class academically with a strong background in math (algebra, trigonometry, calculus) and science (biology, chemistry, physics).

Students should possess strong time management and interpersonal skills and enjoy physical work.

Completion of the Health Sciences (Pre) program does not qualify students for any licensure or certification for employment. This program allows students to apply to the health sciences program in the CAHS on West Campus.
