UC Blue Ash College

Emergency Transportation Plan

Transportation of Individual In Need of Medical Care Only

Should an individual on our campus appear to be physically ill and require immediate medical attention, contact UC Public Safety or UC Blue Ash Police. The officer will contact the city of Blue Ash Police or FIRE/EMT Department. The individual will be transported by ambulance to the nearest available hospital.

Transportation of Individual In Need of Psychiatric Care Only

Should an individual appear to be in need of psychiatric attention, contact UC Public Safety or UC Blue Ash Police. The individual may – at the discretion of the officer – be transported to the UC Medical Center in Clifton by UC Public Safety or UC Blue Ash Police.

Transportation of Individual In Need of Medical and Psychiatric Care

Should an individual require both medical and psychiatric care, the first priority is to treat the medical condition. The individual would first be taken to the nearest hospital. After treatment for the medical condition, the hospital would make arrangements to transport the individual to a psychiatric care facility. In this case, after the UC Public Safety is notified, the City of Blue Ash Fire Department would be contacted to have an ambulance transport the individual to the nearest hospital to treat the medical condition.

Contact Public Safety at 556-1111 or 911 with an office phone or cell phone.
