Staff Representative Council

The Staff Reprentative Council (SRC) was formed to give a voice to UC Blue Ash College staff. Each SRC member represents one of nine units of staff departments, providing their unit with details about SRC activities, development opportunities, policy changes, and other important staff related issues.

Staff Awards

Staff Senate

The University of Cincinnati Staff Senate is an advisory body to the President of the University and University administration. Staff Senate endeavors to have a duly representative and diverse membership with equitable representation among various colleges, divisions and departments.

UC Blue Ash College is currently represented by three Staff Senate members:

Staff Professional Development

Each staff member employed full-time at UC Blue Ash College is entitled to apply for up to $200 in professional development funds through the Staff Representative Council (SRC). Download and fill out the PDF form below, have it signed by your department director and submit it to Gerrie Copeland in the Dean's Office to have your funds approved.

Committee Updates

  1. We are bringing a new Diversity and Inclusion Plan forward as the current plan runs through 2019.
  2. We are updating our bylaws to reflect position title changes in Student Life.
  3. We are discussing how UCBA can partner with Clifton in areas related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  4. We are considering noise complaints in Muntz and space use more generally.

New Staff Highlights

Elizabeth Hartlaub

Elizabeth Hartlaub - Library Operations Manager

Elizabeth Hartlaub is a Cincinnati native. She received a B.A. in International Affairs with a minor in French from Xavier University, and a Master's of Library Science from Indiana University with a concentration in Art Librarianship. Elizabeth brings to UCBA 13 years experience as a librarian and manager at various branches of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. Elizabeth is excited to return to the academic culture of the university community. She is looking forward to blending her academic and public library experiences to support the scholarly pursuits of the students and faculty at UCBA.

Nicholas Burkhart - University Service Associate 1

Nick was born and raised in Sidney, OH but moved to Cincinnati for college. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2017 with a BS in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. He worked as senior student worker in the UCBA OneStop office for three and a half years, then transitioned to UC Psychiatry’s Office of Bipolar Disorder Research for one year as a RA. After college, he worked as a Job Coach for Goodwill Industries for one and a half years assisting individuals with disabilities on learning, as well as maintaining, employment in community settings. Now that he is back in the One Stop office, he is committed to helping students, as well as families, with navigating the higher education system and adjusting to the life-changing event of attending college.

Jazmyn Bradley - University Service Associate 1

Jazmyn Bradley is originally from Cincinnati, OH, but she was raised in Florida. She is a graduate from the University of Cincinnati (Class of '15) where she obtained her BA in Psychology, BS in Psychology, and BS in Criminal Justice. She has been professionally employed at UC for approximately three and a half years, where she's had the opportunity to work on Main Campus (Clifton) within Admissions and Student Financial Aid departments. Before working in higher education, she worked as a Deputy Jailer with a local Jail in Kentucky. She enjoys helping students and families navigate through the college process. As a first-year college graduate, she understands the hardships that students and families face when getting started or going through the college process.

Ranjiv Subramaniam - University Service Associate 1

Ranjiv Subramaniam, who also goes by “Jiv”, is an Ohio native and hails from Xenia, The City of Hospitality. Jiv is a graduate of Ohio Northern University. Ranjiv’s first higher education position was at his alma mater, in the Admissions and Financial Aid departments. After later working in the Pharmaceutical Sales as well as the Banking Industries, Jiv pursued and achieved a goal of returning to world of Higher Education. While Jiv started out as an ONU Polar Bear he is very excited to now be a UC Bearcat! Jiv loves reading novels by Lee Child and David Baldacci. He’s an avid fan of Marvel, WWE and Harry Potter. Jiv enjoys spending time with family, especially his wife and their seven children. Jiv is happy to be back on a college campus and more specifically in a position where he’s able to connect with UC Blue Ash students (and their families) and help them achieve their education and life goals.
