Media Communications & Technology

The Media Communications and Technology Department at UC Blue Ash College offers courses in video, web design, audio, photography, multimedia production and film studies. Students in this program can earn the Media Production Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree and Professional Certificate, as well as one-year certificates in Animation, Interactive Web Multimedia and Media Criticism and Journalism. 

Our department has several agreements allowing students who complete our program to continue their education by transferring to the UC Uptown campus for a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree at CCM or DAAP.

Technology Requirements

All students entering programs at UC Blue Ash in Electronic Media Communications (EMC) are required to own a MacBook Pro laptop computer.
