Media Communications & Technology
The Media Communications & Technology department at UC Blue Ash College offers course work in animation, audio, film studies, photography, multimedia production, media design, video, and web design. Our degree programs include Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Applied Media Communications, Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Applied Media Communications – Animation Track, Professional Certificate (for students holding a baccalaureate degree) in Applied Media Communications Students. We also have one-year certificates in Animation, Interactive Web Multimedia, and Media Criticism & Journalism.

Program Transition Agreements
Our department has several agreements allowing students who complete one of our programs to continue their education by transferring to the UC Uptown campus for a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree at CCM (Media Production – Film and Television Track or Media Production – Multimedia Track) DAAP (Games and Animation) or a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at A&S (Digital Media).

The Media Communications & Technology department offers a number of Performance Package Certificate programs to help students upgrade skills and knowledge.
Technology Requirements
All students entering programs at UC Blue Ash in Media Communications & Technology (MCT) are required to own a MacBook Pro laptop computer. Several of our academic programs also require the use of a DSLR camera. Read about the technology requirements on the pages found below:
UCTV
