Commencement Details

We are glad you have decided to participate in one of the All-University Commencement Ceremonies. Whether you are a first-time graduate, parent, or a UC faculty member joining in the celebration, we know this will be a memorable day for you. This section will provide details about upcoming events, try to answer questions, and point you towards additional resources.

All students completing an associate or baccalaureate degree program are eligible to participate in the commencement ceremonies occurring at the end of their graduating semester. Completing a one-year or professional certificate uses a separate process, and those completing ceritficates do not participate in commencement.

Each participating student will need to have the following:

• Cap
• Gown
• Tassel
• Custom Zipper Pull

These materials are available at the UC Blue Ash College Bookstore, all other UC Bookstores, and are available online at the UC Bookstore website.

A link to watch the live stream online will be posted to the UC Commencement website prior to the ceremony.

Ceremonies will be ticketed for guests. Information on the ticket claim process is emailed to students who selected to participate in Commencement. Additional information on the ticket claim process is emailed to students who selected to participate in Commencement.

• All ceremonies will be held in the Fifth Third Arena
• Guests with limited mobility or small children are encouraged to take advantage of the Family Friendly Zone.
• Doors will open 90 minutes prior to the ceremony.
• Ceremonies generally last approximately two hours each.
