UC Blue Ash College

Apply for Graduation

All undergraduate students in associate or baccalaureate degree programs must submit their graduation applications through the Online Graduation application. UC Blue Ash will not accept paper applications, and will not accept graduation applications after the required deadlines. Please review the following steps in detail.

Make Sure You Are Prepared to Graduate

There are some steps that students should take before jumping into the graduation application. Here are a few key things students should review:

Meet With Your Advisor

Students that intend to graduate need to meet with their advisor to make sure everything is in line. They will let you know if you are close to completing your graduation requirements, and help make sure you don't apply for graduation when there may be issues that still need to be resolved.

Know Your Submission Deadlines

Check the master schedule of opening dates and closing deadlines for the date that the Online Graduation Application will begin accepting applications for the term in which you seek graduation.

Students are responsible for knowing and complying with graduation application deadlines. Graduation applications will not be accepted after the established deadline for the term.

Using the Catalyst Graduation Application

To Submit a Graduation Application

  • Log in to Catalyst.
  • Go to the "My Academic Tile."
  • Scroll the page down until "Application for Graduation" appears in the left-side navigation menu. Click that link.
  • Follow the steps to submit your application and application fee.
  • Remember that your application is not complete until you are presented with a final "application accepted" screen.

Submit a Diploma Name and/or a Diploma Mailing Address:

If you would like to submit a "diploma name" and/or a "diploma mailing address," you must do that separately from completing and submitting the graduation application.

  • After you have submitted a Graduation Application, log in to Catalyst.
  • Go to the "My Academic Tile."
  • Scroll the page down until "View Graduation Status" appears in the left-side navigation menu. Click that link.
  • On the resulting page, look for the "Student Information" section at the bottom of the page. Click either "Confirm Name" or "Confirm Mailing Address."
  • Enter in the diploma name/address as directed.

Graduation Application Fee

All undergraduate students are required to submit a non-refundable graduation fee payment by credit card to complete the degree application.

The graduation application fee was established to enhance services to University of Cincinnati graduating students. The fee underwrites various costs related to All-University Commencement, degree certification, diploma printings and mailings, and other graduation-related expenses.

The graduation fee will be required for each term the student applies for graduation. The graduation fee is $50.00

The Graduation Fee will not be waived, refunded or carried forward to a future term.

A student who applies to graduate and who pays the graduation fee but who does not graduate in the term for which he or she applied (for example, a student who does not satisfactorily complete final term courses, or a student who has not satisfied all degree requirements) will be required to submit the fee again when applying for graduation for a future term.

Students strongly are advised to consult with their academic advisor prior to submitting an application for graduation.

Reserving a Seat at the All-University Commencement

You will have the chance to RSVP for the commencement ceremony as part of completing and submitting your online graduation application.
