TRIO Student Support Services
Student Support Services is a US Department of Education federally funded program that is designed to:
- Provide opportunities for academic development
- Assist students with basic college requirements
- Motivate students toward the successful completion of their postsecondary education
Who Can Participate
Any American citizen or permanent resident student is eligible to participate if enrolled or accepted for enrollment at the University of Cincinnati and meets at least ONE of the following conditions:
- First-generation college students (neither parent has completed a bachelor’s degree program)
- Family taxable income does not exceed federal level determined by the U.S. Department of Education
- Student is accessing services from Accessibility Resources

Outside of work you will find me building a new Lego set, scream-singing my newest musical obsession, or baking sweet treats for friends and family.
I joined the TRIO Student Support Services team in July 2024 and I am delighted to provide academic and personal support to first generation, low-income, and students with a disability. I have previously worked in social services in my hometown of Louisville, Ky until 2019 when I transitioned into higher education where I worked in the admissions office at the University of Louisville. I am a double alumni of UofL receiving both my Bachelors of Science in Sociology and my Master of Education in Counseling and Personnel Services with a concentration in College Student Personnel. I enjoy getting to assist students grow and succeed in their academic and personal journeys.
