Maddie Munro: Education with Honors

Maddie Munro working with other students

Maddie Munro (Pre-Biology) is funding her education herself, so the low cost tuition at UC Blue Ash was a major factor in her decision. However, as a motivated student, she wanted to ensure she was getting the complete college experience. Turns out, UC Blue Ash was the perfect choice.

“I wouldn’t want to go to college anywhere else. I’m really busy here and that’s what I like. The college has provided me with so many opportunities and at a very reasonable price – plus it’s close to home,” she notes.

Beyond her rigorous honors curriculum, Maddie has served as a Student Ambassador, an Honors Program Ambassador, a student worker, studied abroad in Costa Rica, and participated in a biology research program. How’s that for the college experience?

Through scholarships and grants, Maddie has stayed on track to graduate debt-free and now looks forward to what’s next for her future.

"I chose UC Blue Ash so I could graduate debt-free. But that doesn’t mean I miss out on any of the college experience. Through the Honors program, I’m participating in study abroad, research opportunities and student leadership.”
