Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Office helps celebrate the diversity of our students, faculty and staff, while promoting an inclusive campus through groups, events, partnerships, celebrations and education. We hope you'll join us in celebrating diversity at UC Blue Ash.

Our Programs and Services

Through our Latinx Student Outreach program, we also provide a variety of programs and events throughout the year to help Hispanic/Latino students feel at home here at UC Blue Ash College.

Prayer & Meditation Room

Flory 149 will now serve as the UC Blue Ash student/staff/faculty prayer and meditation room. We ask that all who use this space do so respectfully while observing appropriate physical distancing/masking precautions where applicable, and also ask that any comments or concerns about the space be communicated to UC Blue Ash Diversity, Equity and Inclusion via email.

Inclusive Excellence Award

This annual award is sponsored by the Multicultural Council in conjunction with the Diversity and Inclusion Committee. UC Blue Ash students are invited to nominate a member of the UC Blue Ash faculty, staff or administration whom they believe has met the following criteria:

  • Demonstrates sensitivity to people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Recognize a need of preparation for diversity in our global society and workplace.
  • Exhibit a commitment to creating a welcoming environment and a spirit of inclusiveness.
  • Encourage students' "growth in the knowledge of diversity”.
  • Provide services related to diversity that goes beyond their role at the University.

Molly has worked in DEI spaces at UCBA since 2017 and enjoys working to advance equity, empathy, and cultural competency at the college. As UCBA’s Title IX deputy liaison, she is happy to serve as a resource for students, staff, and faculty.
