Student Success Profile: Emily Gross
Emily Gross came to UC Blue Ash College unsure of what to expect when she enrolled in the Applied Graphic Communication program. Her doubts quickly turned into confidence thanks to the faculty and staff at the college.
UC Blue Ash was the perfect place for me to begin my journey. The professors really get to know their students and help make learning personal.
During her time at UC Blue Ash, Emily completed an internship and co-op experience with the college’s Communications Department. She also earned a prestigious co-op during the summer of 2019 as a packaging designer for Proctor & Gamble in Cincinnati. These incredible experiences helped her learn how to administer her skills in real-world situations.
The foundation provided at UC Blue Ash helped Emily get accepted into UC’s school of Design, Architecture, Art & Planning (DAAP) where she is pursuing a degree in communication design.
“I feel passionate about who I am, confident in who I am, and I feel like I have really found my place in life. And I think that all really does start with UC Blue Ash College.”
