UC Blue Ash College

Student Awards for Excellence in Chemistry

Each year we like to recognize outstanding students who have taken all of their first-year and second-year chemistry courses at UCBA. The qualifications of candidates for the awards are:

  • Students must be currently enrolled in CHEM 2031 (Survey of Biochemistry II) or CHEM 2041 (Organic Chemistry II) during the Spring Term.

  • Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better in their chemistry courses.

  • In addition to GPA, other student contributions or activities related to the field of Chemistry (for example, working as a student tutor in the Science Learning Lab or participating in undergraduate research) may be considered in selecting award recipients.

Chemistry faculty members select nominees for a list of eligible students, discuss their qualifications, and vote to award recipients.

Please see the list of past award recipients below. You should be proud of your accomplishments. Your hard work and achievement are an inspiration to us all.
