Exercise Science
The Exercise Science program is an associate of science degree that will prepare students for a variety of careers in health and fitness. After obtaining their Associate's degree, students can choose to transition to the baccalaureate program in exercise science at UC's College of Education, Criminal Justice and Human Services (CECH).
Where It Will Take You
The career and curriculum expectations for this program will prepare students for careers in exercise science, physiology, and fitness programming - just to name a few! Graduates of this program will be prepared to advance in some of the following career options such as:
- Exercise Physiologist
- Employee Wellness Manager
- Fitness Manager or Director
- Health Coach
- Health Educator
- Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor
- Strength & Conditioning Coach
Students who graduate with an AS in Exercise Science can expect an average salary of $31,720 and 13% career growth; Students with a BS in Exercise Science can expect an average salary of $51,000 and 10% career growth.*

Transition-Oriented Program
