When did you start at UC Blue Ash and what are your current responsibilities?
I started as the Digital Marketing Coordinator at UC Blue Ash this past July! My primary responsibilities involve photo and video production, telling the stories of our faculty, staff, and students, supporting content creation for social media, creating paid marketing materials for the college, and managing Thursday Announcements. Previously, I worked at Colorado State University in a similar role for the College of Health and Human Sciences, covering fields such as Design and Merchandising, Construction Management, Education, and Health and Exercise Science.
What is your favorite thing about working or teaching at UC Blue Ash?
My favorite thing about working at UC Blue Ash has been the people. Being around a group whose support and passion for students is something I really value, and it's great to see that reflected in the community here.

Is there a current/recent book or podcast you’re enjoying?
As a massive sports fan, I'm consumed by all things football (both soccer and American) as fall rolls around. My favorite podcasts are the Arsenal Vision Post Match podcast for Premier League content, and the Green Light Podcast from former NFLer Chris Long, who provides great insights from his experience in the league.
What kind of hobbies or activities do you pursue outside of work?
My hobbies outside of work involve spending time with my girlfriend Martha and our dog Birdie. We spend much of our free time exploring the greater Cincinnati area, going on hikes, trying new breweries, or playing disc golf courses. I love watching soccer at the Pitch in OTR and getting out for a round of disc golf. I also rock climb and fly fish but have been so busy with moving across the country that I haven't had a chance to climb or fish since arriving here.
Is there a fun or interesting fact you would like to share about yourself?
A fun fact I'd share with everyone at UC Blue Ash is that I recently moved to Cincinnati from Denver, Colorado, to be closer to my girlfriend Martha and her family as we begin the next chapter of our lives together. I left behind my two amazing parents, two younger sisters, and a great group of friends in Colorado. I've loved beginning this new chapter of my life in Cincinnati and at UC Blue Ash - it's a wonderful community that has helped me find my footing during the biggest transition of my life.
